Multimedia applications, to benefit me and my business??

Multimedia is the use of computer technology to present text, graphics, video, animation and sound from within one interactive application. The internet with the increases in speed and computer power is a fully multimedia capable application. In the past it was only possible to offer this kind of media on CD's and DVD's. DVD players, computers, visual touch screen ticket machines, computer games and computers, modern touch screen jukebox machines. The graphical user interface (GUI) is a variant multimedia interface for using your PC. Even though the definition GUI only specifies graphical capabilities more and more the computer is becoming a full interactive multimedia style interface. Windows Vista, Mac OS and Linux distributions with immense interactive graphics and sound capabilities are perfect examples of this. All of these are multimedia applications using a collection of media ,computing, tools and applications.

So how can I use this?

As with the nature of any media, multimedia applications are used to inform and entertain. Some examples of multimedia applications include

• Video Business Cards, Playable in both computer and DVD players.
• Interactive applications for atrists and performers for promotion
• Business presentations, Bochures, media interfaces, pub style games machines, jukeboxes
• Internet advertising, intereactive banner games and animation
